ELTTOB TEP ISSEY MIYAKE, a select shop in Tokyo's Ginza district and Osaka's Senba district that carries the ISSEY MIYAKE INC. brand, is hosting an installation in collaboration with two artists. ELTTOB TEP ISSEY MIYAKE / Ginza collaborated with artist Komatsu Kosei on the theme of "Wearing Light," the theme of the ISSEY MIYAKE 14SS collection. ISSEY MIYAKE created feathers using original fabric, and Komatsu transformed them into weathervanes and chandeliers. Limited-edition items featuring motifs from Komatsu's work are also available. Accessories include a necklace (14,000 yen), brooch (12,000 yen), and earrings (14,000 yen), as well as a T-shirt (23,000 yen) with a bold print of a vibrant blue feather pattern. The event will run until April 2nd.
Also, from April 9th to 15th, similar installations and items will be on sale at Center Park/The Stage #4 on the 4th floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building and Kotokoto Stage 11 on the 1st floor of the Hankyu Umeda Main Store, as well as a pleated series with a feather print motif.
At eltove tep ISSEY MIYAKE / SEMBA, art director Koji Iyama has dynamically expressed the worldview of "LINE," the season theme of "me ISSEY MIYAKE," inside the store using original masking tape "mt." An original set featuring tape made from me ISSEY MIYAKE stretch pleated fabric will also be available. The event will run until April 2nd.
