DIESEL JAPAN will hire all new graduates and mid-career hires as full-time employees, and from April, all sales staff except part-time and casual employees will become full-time employees.
While mid-career recruitment in the apparel and retail industry typically involves hiring part-time or contract employees, DIESEL JAPAN is one of the first to adopt permanent full-time employment with no restrictions on employment contract duration, aiming to increase its recruiting competitiveness and secure talented personnel efficiently and quickly. Of the approximately 940 sales staff currently employed at DIESEL JAPAN, approximately 300 contract employees will also become full-time employees from April 1st. The current part-time and casual employment system will continue.
DIESEL JAPAN regards sales as a specialized position and is committed to a training and education system. Depending on sales skills, career paths are available, including promotion to positions such as fashion advisor and stylist, sales management, dedicated sales, and headquarters staff. Internal recruitment and internship programs are also available.
Since the 2012 recruitment of new graduates, Diesel Japan has implemented a "Brave recruitment" system, whereby new graduates join the company in October in addition to April. Accepted graduates can use the six months from April to October after graduation to gain experience for personal growth before joining the company.
