Vivienne Westwood's 2014-2015 Autumn/Winter collection was inspired by the Ashaninka tribe of Peru and haute couture pioneer Charles Frederick Worth. Highly draping fabrics and random hems create graceful, flowing silhouettes. The cutting, characteristic of the brand, is characterized by intricate, bias-aligned cuts, creating unique shapes. In addition to the brand's iconic squiggly and checked patterns, deep green was used extensively this time. This color choice was said to be an environmentally conscious effort. A gorgeous evening look concluded the show, featuring ample use of light tulle, a favorite of Worth.
