Thom Browne, New York, held its 2014-15 Autumn/Winter men's collection show in the Freycinet Hall, a former French National Railway warehouse. A gray checkered and striped animal sculpture was displayed in the center of the venue, around which the models walked. The show began with a series of checkered and striped suits, the same design as the runway sculpture. The jackets had raw edges, reminiscent of Chanel tweed jackets. Each model wore a headdress shaped like a frog, bird, elephant, or bear, delighting the audience. The pieces were created by hat designer Stephen Jones. Next came pieces featuring Victorian-inspired leaf motifs reminiscent of William Morris's designs. All of the intricate pieces featured mink patchwork and other elements. Their shapes evoked clay figurines.
