
The pop-up store "KIMONO by NADESHIKO POP UP STORE" will be open from June 16th to 25th at BY PARCO in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo.
"Kimonos have the power to change a girl's daily life. We want more people to know about the charm of kimonos." With this in mind, Nadeshiko was launched in 2004 as a brand that introduced women in their 20s to kimonos. In 2016, in order to further evolve, the brand was rebranded as KIMONO by NADESHIKO.
The yukata, which has become a summer essential for girls, has endless ways to be enjoyed. Using the yukata as the dress code, stylist Rika Endo and illustrator Misaki Tanaka have created a world of seven girls that resemble "shaved ice." Ichigo Milk lives in a girly, kitschy world, while Lemon Soda loves music and is a fan of 90s culture.
During the period, items will be on sale, including new yukatas made using traditional techniques such as "chusen" and "shibori," as well as easily washable yukatas, obi sashes, geta sandals, and bags. Visitors will also receive a limited number of original postcards as a gift. An opening party will be held on the first day of the pop-up from 6pm, and is open to the public.
