With summer just around the corner, Toraya Cafe An Stand and the Toraya Cafe Aoyama store will begin selling limited-time shaved ice and mizore (snow shaved ice).

Toraya Cafe An Stand Shinjuku store will be introducing anko paste shaved ice, made with high-purity natural ice made by slowly freezing rare, famous water from the Southern Alps and Yatsugatake, combined with plenty of anko paste and specially selected homemade syrup. "An Paste Shaved Ice [Strawberry]" (700 yen) and "An Paste Shaved Ice [Strawberry Condensed Milk]" (800 yen) will be available from June 16th to September 18th (planned), featuring the sweet and sour flavors of strawberries and bean paste (smooth bean paste) in strawberry syrup made with plenty of Amaou puree. Other items include "Brown Sugar Shaved Ice" (Brown Sugar, 600 yen / Brown Sugar Condensed Milk, 700 yen), made with brown sugar from Iriomote Island, available until July 14th, "Condensed Milk" (650 yen), carefully mashed over low heat for a smooth finish, available until September 18th (planned), and "Matcha Shaved Ice" (Matcha, 650 yen / Matcha Condensed Milk, 750 yen), made with generous amounts of Uji matcha and featuring a bitter taste, available from July 15th to September 18th (planned).

The Toraya Cafe Aoyama branch will be offering three types of mizore, which change periodically. "Matcha and Citrus Milk Mizore" will be available from June 16th to July 14th, combining matcha mizore with a citrus scent and topped with soy milk mizore. From July 15th to August 10th, "Watermelon Mizore" will be available, made with fresh watermelon puree and only white syrup added. From August 17th to September 18th, "Citron Ginger Mizore" will be available, combining the refreshing flavors of orange and lemon with a spicy kick of ginger. All priced at 800 yen.

In addition, seasonal limited edition bean paste pastes will be available from June 16th to the end of July (planned), including "Bean Paste [Vanilla and Lemon]," which combines white bean paste with lemon puree, honey, and vanilla beans, and from August 1st to mid-September (planned), "Bean Paste [Raspberry]," which combines smooth bean paste with raspberry and a secret ingredient of brown sugar syrup for added depth of flavor. These will be available from August 1st to mid-September (planned), for 800 yen each, at Toraya Cafe Aoyama and An Stand Shinjuku. In addition, until June 18th, "Bean Paste Small 3-Pack (Smooth Bean Paste, White Sesame and Kinako Flour, and Ogura Bean Paste)" (2,250 yen), a set of three of Toraya Cafe's classic bean paste pastes with a Father's Day limited edition wrapping paper, will be available at the Aoyama and Shinjuku stores, as well as on the online shop (until June 15th), making it the perfect Father's Day gift.
