Shiseido Parlour Ginza Main Branch will be holding its annual "Summer Ginza Curry Fair" from July 26th to August 31st.
The fair will offer a total of six menu items, including three classic curry rice dishes and three specially crafted curry dishes that combine carefully selected ingredients with traditional curry sauces and soups. Based on cooking methods passed down through generations of chefs, the menu features a variety of dishes that showcase the delicious flavors of beef, pork, vegetables, and seafood.
The "Iberian Pork Spare Rib Salt and Summer Vegetable Soup Curry" (2,900 yen) is Shiseido Parlour's first "soup curry," created by the head chef of the Ginza Main Branch after extensive research and food tours of Sapporo, the birthplace of soup curry. Sautéed salted Iberian pork, which is melt-in-your-mouth tender and packed with flavor, is paired with colorful summer vegetables. The curry sauce is not overly spicy and has a refreshing flavor. The "Wagyu Sanmai Premium Curry Rice" (5,000 yen) uses Wagyu sanmai, a cut of beef characterized by alternating thin layers of lean meat and fat. Only the most tender cuts are carefully selected and simmered in Español sauce. The "Lobster and Scallop Curry with Saffron Rice" (4,900 yen) combines firm lobster and large scallops sautéed with the flavor of culinary bones and a curry sauce with the aroma of coconut. Also, until August 31st, Shiseido Parlour Nihonbashi Takashimaya, Yokohama Takashimaya, Yokohama Sogo, and Nagoya stores are holding a "Summer Curry Fair." Each store offers one special common menu item and an original menu item unique to each store.
