Aug 28, 2020

FENDI, the luxury brand renowned in Rome, Italy, is pleased to announce the global launch of an all-new, never-before-seen campaign featuring its iconic Peekaboo bag. Starring alongside Peekaboo is actress and producer Zoey Deutch.

The highlight of the campaign is the emotional connection between Peekaboo and Zoey, which celebrates Zoey's innermost, authentic and true self.

The video begins with Zoe, the main character, holding a Peekaboo bag on set and giving a glimpse of its contents. Zoe's inner spirit is revealed, as is the inside of the Peekaboo bag, and her personality shines through. The story follows Zoe as she walks through the story, cut to short videos in chronological order. Viewers follow Zoe as she sits down in the studio, where she is filmed with her Peekaboo.

The soundtrack is The Horrors' "I See You," showcasing Zoe's bold, eccentric, and energetic personality, and once again powerfully highlighting the magical connection between Zoe and her Peekaboo.

The new Peekaboo, unveiled in February of this year as part of the 2020-21 Fall/Winter collection, features an accordion frame and a design that opens like a deep smile, as well as an interior pocket that can be freely swapped between smooth leather and precious skin. The removable interior pocket can be personalized with your initials.

The Peekaboo debuted on the Spring/Summer 2009 runway. Designed by Creative Director Silvia Venturini Fendi, the Peekaboo combines Fendi's savoir-faire, boundless creativity, luxurious materials, and attention to detail, all of which make the Peekaboo infinitely versatile. Each piece is captivating and unique. Impeccably timeless, this bag has always been, and always will be, elevated, reinterpreted, and evolved from season to season, collection to collection.

The new campaign, #FendiPeekaboo, will be released in late August, and the new Peekaboo will be available in stores and online at fendi.com from mid-August.
