FENDI, the iconic Italian luxury brand, is celebrating its 100th anniversary with the issuance of a special commemorative stamp by the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy. The stamp is part of the "Excellence of the Productive Economic System" series, awarded to Italian brands on their centennial anniversary. It recognizes FENDI's important role in the Italian economy and its continued contribution to elevating the value of "Made in Italy" on the international stage.

This stamp combines iconic symbols representing Fendi's century-long heritage. Built on values such as tradition, innovation and passion, these symbols have been the foundational pillars of Fendi since its founding in 1925, and serve as recurring codes and motifs that connect Fendi's past and present.

The stamp features a reinterpretation of the "FENDI Roma" logo, created to commemorate the House's 100th anniversary, in Fendi's signature yellow, incorporating the number 1 and the infinity symbol. The iconic "FF" logo forms the background. The "FF" logo was created in 1965 when Karl Lagerfeld was appointed Creative Director by the five legendary sisters, Paola, Anna, Franca, Carla, and Alda, daughters of the House's founders, Adele and Edoardo Fendi. The "FF" logo, standing for "Fun Furs," marked a pivotal turning point, boldly defining Fendi's boundless creativity and identity.

This special commemorative stamp will be presented in a Fendi yellow A4 stamp collector's folder accompanied by a text signed by Silvia Venturini Fendi, Fendi's Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear. The folder also includes a set of four stamps and a postcard for philatelists.

The stamps, folders and related products will be available for purchase from April 4, 2025, at Poste Italiane (Italian Postal Service) post offices throughout Italy, at 10 special postal stamp spaces located in the historic centers of Italy's major cities, online at filatelia.poste.it and to subscribers.
