FENDI presented its Spring/Summer 2025 Men's collection by Silvia Venturini Fendi, Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear, at Superstudio Maxi (Via Moncucco, 35, 20142 Milan) on June 15, 2024, at 2:30 PM local time.

The show took place in the 7,000-square-meter open studio of Superstudio Maxi in Milan, the first LEED Gold-certified event space in Europe. The minimalist set design, designed by Nico Vascellari, featured six movable mirrored columns that tracked the models' trajectories throughout the show, creating endless corridors and reflections. Vascellari's electronic soundtrack, created in collaboration with Rocco Rampino, was designed to respond to the collection and its airy, sunlit setting, accentuating its pulsating, romantic beat.

Silvia Fendi conceived Fendi as a "traveling time capsule," reflecting decades and numerous destinations, underpinned by its eternal North Star: Italian craftsmanship. The Spring/Summer 2025 Men's Collection is a homage to the universal, elevating codes from before Fendi first presented its men's silhouette in 1990.

The pillars of the men's wardrobe evolve into sartorial puzzle pieces that invigorate a soft expression of masculinity through contemporary luxury. The notion of a uniform for work and play, once emblematic of the international elite, is deconstructed and dreamily reimagined in a powdery palette. A mineral palette of sorbet, mist, ivory, caramel, and buttermilk blends with soft blues, natural indigo, black, and green. It's somewhere between sport and ceremony that the idea for the FENDI Club emerges. Its crest proudly adorns breast pockets and buttons like a fantasy family crest.

From head to toe, the collection celebrates the Selleria craft, passed down to the Fendi family by a Roman saddler in 1925. The Selleria is reimagined as an irregular pinstripe suiting jacquard, while stripes and tonal FF logos appear on linen and other luxurious textures. It is also applied as a surface treatment to Japanese boro denim, and as an extremely minimalist frame to crisp wool outerwear and leather goods. Subtle volumes are overflowing, subtly understated, as in the pairing of bomber jackets in voluminous fabrics, flowing trench coats, and three-button blazers with loose-cut slash trousers. Details also appear that twist the very essence of clothing. Poplin shirt sleeves are sewn in at the elbow so they can be worn long or cut short, and shirt plackets twist from the neck to the ribs. Asymmetrical silk knits create airy modularity when unbuttoned at the shoulders. Pleated short trousers are layered with long overshirts with patch pockets and silk ties, which are then layered under short summer jackets in a combination of linen, leather, madras checked cotton, and ultra-lightweight suede. The Spring/Summer 2025 men's accessories collection showcases this season's dedication to Selleria. From the Peekaboo ISeeU Soft bag and supple crossbody shopper to the new zippered Baguette Double crossbody bag and the patchwork Baguette, crafted from multicolored offcuts from the Fendi ateliers, each piece is meticulously crafted. The FENDI Force sneakers feature contrasting panels and whipstitched details. Also available are loafers with embossed lug soles and slip-on flats in patent leather or embroidered with waxed thread.
