Starting in May, FAUCHON will launch "FAUCHON Pain Voyage," a year-long campaign showcasing breads and pastries from various regions of France.
As a food brand with origins in France, FAUCHON believes it is its mission to promote French food culture in Japan, and this is why it planned this campaign. "We want people to discover breads and pastries that reflect the unique characteristics of each region. Each one has its own unique shape, color, flavor, and little story, which is fascinating," said Nicolas Jambert, Executive Chef for Asia Pacific Development, who planned and supervised the campaign.
The May product is "Pain Brie," originating from Normandy, one of France's leading butter-producing regions. The dough is made with Normandy butter, creating a contrast between the crispy exterior and the soft interior. Representative breads and baked goods from each region of France will be released every month throughout the year, including "Fougasse," a traditional leaf-shaped bread from Provence, "Kouign-Amann," a buttery baked confectionery from Brittany, and "Stollen," a raspberry-flavored pastry. They will be sold at Takashimaya and other Fauchon bread corners nationwide.
