On April 3rd, Tumugu held its 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection at the Textile Net Exhibition at Laforet Harajuku. The designer was Naoshi of Naoshi Sawayanagi.
This was the brand's first collection, and featured draped dresses made from silk twill, a material often used for scarves, and designs using inkjet prints based on Polaroid photographs of flowers taken by photographer Asada Hiroshi. Media artist Okubo Yusuke also projected a video onto the runway, adding a three-dimensional effect to the prints.
"This time we focused on apparel, but I'd like to work with other industries in the future," said Naoshi.
