Longrain TOKYO, a modern Thai restaurant from Australia located on the 39th floor of Yebisu Garden Place Tower, will launch as a modern Asian restaurant with a new concept of "beautiful colors" and "the use of fresh herbs" in addition to the four flavors of "spicy, sweet, sour, and salty."
Furthermore, as a modern Asian restaurant, Longrain TOKYO will begin offering a visually stunning seasonal course from July 16, 2020. Unlike the traditional sharing style, each individual course will consist of nine dishes and can be enjoyed with a wine pairing carefully selected by a sommelier. For those who don't drink alcohol, soft drink pairings are also available.
The seasonal course uses colorful ingredients with an emphasis on the season, abundantly seasoned with spices and fresh herbs, and the menu is updated with each season. With every visit, you can enjoy a menu that combines new flavors, beautiful colors and aromas. The summer seasonal course begins with an Asian amuse-bouche featuring "Spicy Pork and Herb Tart," "Silver-stripe Herring Confit with Mala Sauce," and "Squid Black Pepper Fritters." It also includes three herb-infused appetizers: "Straw-Grilled Bonito with Fennel and Red Nam Jim Sauce," "Herb and Vegetable Spring Rolls," and "Steamed Yellowtail with Black Bean Sauce." For the main meat dish, choose from "Grilled Bubble Pork with Holy Basil Sauce," which combines sweet bubbling pork with a refreshing basil sauce, or "Crying Tiger Beef Skirt Steak with Hot & Sour Sauce." Longrain TOKYO's beloved Pad Thai will also be available as a "Bite-sized Longrain Pad Thai." The ever-popular "Green Curry" can also be added to any course.
For dessert, we offer a "Mango, Passion Fruit, and Coconut Pavlova," perfect for a refreshing summer day. This satisfying nine-course menu includes a total of nine dishes.
Enjoy a panoramic view of Tokyo from the 39th floor, the top floor of Ebisu Garden Place Tower, and savor the cuisine of Longrain TOKYO's "Modern Asian Restaurant."
