TOD'S has released a short film, "The Virtuous Elevator," featuring the Tod's Cape Bag, a signature item from its Spring/Summer 2015 collection. The word "virtuous" in the film's title refers to chasteness and morality. By starring model Elisa Sednaoui, the film is aimed at all women who have their own style and are true to their emotions. Comprised of seven episodes, the film depicts Elisa's elegant character, portraying a lifestyle filled with everyday joy and a touch of irony. She loves shopping and eating, buying more than she can carry in an elevator than she can handle, and sneaking sweets when others aren't looking. She also heads out to parties at night, sometimes rushing to get there late. Her honesty and commitment to her own style further enhances the feminine charm of both herself and the bag. The Tod's Cape Bag is an elegant and feminine piece that embodies the style of the busy jet-setter. Its curves and shape are inspired by horse riding saddles. A simple, self-closing flap makes the bag easy to open and close. Materials include chrome-tanned half calfskin and calfskin, as well as Miami leather, cotton, calfskin, python, and crocodile. A wide range of colors are available, from bright summer hues to pastels and classic tones.
