Todd Snyder Shibuya Flagship Store 1st Anniversary T-shirt Released. Richard Haines Draws Everyday Life

Apr 8, 2015

Todd Snyder has released a T-shirt (11,000 yen) to commemorate the first anniversary of its Shibuya flagship store, Todd Snyder Townhouse.

The T-shirt features an illustration by Richard Haynes, a close friend of Todd Snyder's. In addition to his trademark glasses, the illustration features various items that color Richard's daily life, such as a takeout coffee cup, paintbrushes and paints, and headphones.

A total of seven T-shirts are available, including one look from the brand's Spring/Summer 2015 runway collection. The collection will be available at Todd Snyder Townhouse and online.

Richard Haynes is a New York-based illustrator whose work has appeared in various publications, including GQ and The New York Times. He has previously collaborated with Dries Van Noten, Chanel, and Prada. He also visited Japan with Todd on the opening day of the Todd Snyder Townhouse. He created original illustrations for the invitations and impromptu painted portraits of the guests at the party.
