The 2015-16 Fall/Winter collection for women's brand ELZA WINKLER, by designer Eiichiro Nakai, showcases solid tailoring and design, with hints of Nakai's Alexander McQueen background.
The theme is "T.G.I.F. (Thank God, It's Friday)." This phrase, which expresses the joy of welcoming the weekend in English, is used as a keyword to evoke the image of going out to a party or other evening event. Red accents the garments, creating a slightly sensual atmosphere.
The textured, voluminous pieces, such as tucked dresses and long, flared skirts made from processed cotton for a lustrous sheen, evoke the party scene. Adding a touch of luxury is a gorgeous black faux fur jacket. Crafted from mohair-blend textiles from Steiff of Germany, it shines with a unique black texture.
Peace coats and trench coats with draped collars, and tail shirts made from sheer wool
are items that exude individuality despite their understated designs. The classic trench coat is now available in an autumn/winter version made from 100% wool or cashmere. It goes without saying that the heavy garment has a beautiful silhouette that fits the body well.
A lookbook has been produced for this season. The background and makeup are changed into two scenes, expressing the brand concept of "Classic & Creative." From next season, the brand is also considering releasing its products overseas.
