This fall, Tycoon Books will publish a photo collection titled "Looking at My Father" by young photographer Jiro Konami, who is active in the fields of magazines and advertising.

Konami's "Looking at My Father" series is an eight-year project that began when he met his father, who had been living far away, for the first time in several years. The collection features works that express the collaborative style he created with his father, who was an art teacher in Oshima, as well as the sense of distance between father and son.
Konami is 26 years old, born in 1986. He began photography in 2006 and published the photo collection "Dim the Light" while graduating from Tokyo Polytechnic University. After graduating in 2010, he has exhibited his work in photography exhibitions and group exhibitions, and has received awards such as the Shu Uemura Award at the 2010 Art Award Tokyo. Recently, he has worked on catalogs and advertisements for magazines such as "GINZA" and "SWITCH," as well as select shops such as Beams, United Arrows, and Isetan.
