We've teamed up with SPiCE Cafe, a spice restaurant in Oshiage, Tokyo, which strives to recreate the authentic spice cuisine, to create our second batch of ready-to-eat curry: beef curry and butter chicken curry. The fusion of spices and Japanese ingredients delivers a taste that's made with the utmost care.

Last year's ready-to-eat curry, which was well-received by many customers, is a perfect match for Japanese rice. This time, we're offering two new flavors: basic beef curry and butter chicken curry. The fusion of carefully selected spices and Japanese ingredients adds a unique "SPiCE Cafe x AKOMEYA TOKYO" feel, making this a dish you can only enjoy here.
Adding a touch of innovation to the basics

The curry uses nutritious Japanese ingredients such as sweet and sour tamarind paste, dashi stock, and salt koji. The key is the secret ingredient that gives the mellow, rich curry a spiciness and freshness. By combining a variety of spices such as kasuri methi, coriander, and cinnamon with never-before-seen Japanese ingredients, we have created a novel curry that you will want to eat again and again.
A beef curry like no other with a sharp spiciness and the deep flavor of the broth

Smooth Beef Curry
A beef curry unique to SPiCE Cafe x AKOMEYA TOKYO, with a harmonious blend of fragrant and refreshing spices such as cardamom and coriander and the delicious flavor of the broth. We've created a new and unprecedented beef curry by adding sharply spicy spices to match the sweetness of Japanese rice, the sourness of tamarind, and chunky beef.

Butter chicken curry, where the spices stand out in a creamy sauce

Butter chicken curry
A butter chicken curry with a deep flavor, with a creamy taste and the slight bitterness of kasuri methi. The richness is achieved with butter and fresh cream, and the secret ingredient of shio-koji (salted rice malt) brings out the umami that pairs well with Japanese rice. The gentle spiciness of the green chili peppers adds to the lingering flavor.
