Maison de Reefer, a lifestyle shop for mature women directed by model Rinka, offers this curry bread as a takeout item that's proving extremely popular at the cafe and restaurant Rosalie (2F Daikanyama Plaza, 24-7 Sarugaku-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) located on the second floor.
The shop conducted countless trial runs before finally arriving at the perfect flavor. This masterpiece, crafted with great care, features a crispy crust filled with beef curry simmered in red wine for over six hours. It's just the right amount of spice, sure to satisfy any adult. It's served piping hot, fresh from the frying pan, but the batter stays crisp even when cooled, making it the perfect gift.
These breads were served to fans attending Maison de Reefer's first-anniversary event in April of this year, and were met with rave reviews, with comments like, "It's crispy and delicious!" and "The cute logo on the bag makes me want to eat it on the go!"
Currently, they are sold on a limited basis of only 50 per day, starting at 3pm every Tuesday and Friday. They are so popular that they sometimes sell out within about two hours of going on sale. (*Sales dates and quantities may be subject to change.)
