LADURÉE, the Parisian patisserie synonymous with macarons, will be selling a new flavor, "Royale," from its gelato collection, "Les Exquises," at the Ladurée Shinjuku store (located in Shinjuku Lumine 2), the only store in the world that sells Les Exquises, from August 9th.
"Royale" is a gelato made with chocolate ice cream topped with raspberry sauce, raspberries, and macaron raspberry crunch. All gelato is served in cups with a striped pattern of rose and ivory, Ladurée's signature colors. A single is priced at 490 yen, and a double is 810 yen.
A variety of flavors are available at the store. In addition to the new products, the current lineup includes four flavors: "Fresher," which is yogurt ice cream with added raspberry; "Ispahan," which is rose-flavored ice cream topped with raspberry sauce, raspberry, lychee, macaroon rose crunch, and crystallized rose petals; and "Paeva," which is violet-flavored ice cream topped with blackcurrant sauce, macaroon blackcurrant crunch, and crystallized violet petals.
