Dior is hosting a special order event for bags featuring precious skins (rare leather) at its in-store shop on the fourth floor of the Isetan Shinjuku store. The event runs until the 19th. The bags available are the Lady Dior (three sizes) and Miss Dior. Customers can choose from crocodile leather (15 matte colors, 14 shiny colors) or ostrich leather (three colors) (as of the 14th). Customers can also choose from five charm types (three metals, two with stones), and three engraving options (colorless, gold, and silver). Delivery is expected approximately six months after ordering. While Dior always accepts bag orders, this is the first time they've offered such a wide selection of precious skins. The standard size of the crocodile Lady Dior is priced at ¥2,677,500, while the large size is ¥3,255,000. Approximately 20 reservations had already been placed prior to the event.

After the sale ended, high-priced items were sold at the Isetan Shinjuku store overall, and sales were higher than expected. Dior plans to hold several events at the store this fall.
