New York-based "Bareburger," which uses organic meat, opens its first store in Jiyugaoka

Jun 10, 2015

Tomorrowland has partnered with New York hamburger brand Bareburger to open its first Japanese location on July 19th in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo (located inside Maple Farm, 2-16-10 Jiyugaoka, Meguro-ku, Tokyo). Bareburger operates a small chain of organic hamburgers, primarily in North America. The "bare" in the restaurant's name refers to its commitment to serving ingredients grown without the use of hormones or pesticides. The restaurant has been ranked in the "Top 10 New York Hamburgers" by Zagat, America's top restaurant information magazine, from 2011 to 2014. The New York Michelin Guide also praised the restaurant as a "sustainable-minded gem" and "addictive" in 2011, and has continued to feature it in the restaurant's rankings until 2014.

The organic meat used in the hamburgers, the centerpiece of the menu, is sourced from trusted suppliers and farmers carefully selected by our chefs. We use a wide variety of grass-fed, free-range, additive-free meat.

In Japan, in addition to the standard beef, chicken, and turkey, we also offer a premium burger made with Japanese Black Beef, which is only available in Japan. For vegetarians and vegans, we also offer hamburgers made with vegetable patties, four types of salads, and six side dishes. For drinks, we offer four popular types of shakes, as well as organic wine, organic soda, and juice.
