Ginza Maison Henri Charpentier releases new desserts using seasonal fruits for a limited time

Jun 15, 2015

Ginza Maison Henri Charpentier, the flagship café of Western confectionery brand Henri Charpentier, will be offering five new summer desserts for a limited time from June 15th to August 31st. Ginza Maison Henri Charpentier, which opened in April this year, is comprised of a basement and first floor, each with a "wonderland" theme, creating an extraordinary atmosphere. The "Salon de Thé" café space on the basement floor offers authentic table desserts. The "Boutique" retail space on the first floor offers baked goods such as the brand's signature financiers and popular fresh cakes. The brand's first-ever "Bar Maison" will also be installed. Enjoy authentic desserts with alcoholic beverages such as champagne, wine, and whiskey. The new summer desserts, made with seasonal fruits, are topped with shaved ice for a refreshing and refreshing look. Three of these desserts are served at the Salon de Thé on the basement floor. The Crepe Mango (1,800 yen), made with the restaurant's popular original crepe dough, is made by adding mango puree to a crepe and layering it with delicately sweet coconut cream. The final touch is served right before your eyes, drizzled with lime granita (a sorbet-like frozen dessert). The Soleil (1,700 yen) is a citrus cocktail compote inspired by the summer sun, served with refreshing mint granita. Breaking the red sphere on top reveals pineapple, mango, passion fruit, and lime puree, along with the refreshing aroma of citrus. The Blueberry Yogurt Mille-feuille (1,600 yen), a yogurt mousse sandwiched between crispy pastry, is a delightful marriage of yogurt mousse and blueberry compote with a subtle hint of thyme.

Also, Bar Maison on the first floor offers two dishes: Soleil (1,500 yen), which is beautifully presented in a glass in a style different from that served at Salon de The, and Blueberry Yogurt (1,500 yen), which is served with a honey lemon sauce.
