Kyoto Hotel Okura will be selling Father's Day cakes at the 1st floor cafe, Rec Court, from June 18th to June 21st, 2020.
Father's Day Cake
This is the second time we've had a cake like this, following the popularity of last year's cake. It's based on Rec Court's classic "Opera" cake, and features a beard and tie. Approximately four times the size of a regular cake, you can enjoy the smooth taste of coffee-infused buttercream and chocolate to your heart's content.

Located in the heart of Kyoto City, this traditional hotel was founded in 1888. 2020 marks the 132nd anniversary of its founding. The view from the restaurant on the top floor, approximately 60 meters above sea level, is beautiful, offering a panoramic view of the 36 peaks of Higashiyama, the Kamo River, and the ancient cityscape.
