Ermenegildo Zegna, whose Fall/Winter 2017-18 collection was unveiled in January and whose artistic director was replaced by Alessandro Sartori, presented their Spring/Summer 2018 Men's collection on June 16th, the first day of Milan Fashion Week Men's. The lawn of the University of Milan courtyard, where Sartori spent much of his youth, was painted tangerine. The metallic staircase was illuminated by the setting sun, and the show kicked off with a performance of Japanese drums on the surrounding terraces. Zegna colors like walnut, vicuna, and optical white created a luxurious off-duty collection. Earthy sand tones based on brown were paired with V-neck sweaters with varied knits, scoop-neck knitwear, pullover shirts in fabric, and soft, lightweight jackets with textured pique-like surfaces. Paired with jogging pants and baseball caps, they created a relaxed atmosphere.
Soft and crisp silhouettes made from cutting-edge materials such as mesh jacquard, perforated (punched) and intarsia leather, and washed silk are mainly solid colors.
The new "Titian" sneakers, which express the same pattern, will be on sale from the day after the collection announcement at nine stores worldwide (only the Ginza store in Japan) and online, and will also respond to new requests from the See Now Buy Now market.
