Christian Louboutin's new sneakers were unveiled at a bike polo tournament held as a special event at Pitti Immagine Uomo 92, which began on June 13th in Florence.

The event, held on a special court set up in Piazza Santa Maria Novella in front of Florence Station, is a cycling sport that originated in Seattle in 1999, primarily among bike messengers. It has gained popularity in New York and Europe, and currently boasts over 450 clubs and 5,000 competitors worldwide.

Eight teams from around the world participated in this tournament, including NINJA FIVE from Japan. Christian Louboutin's new men's sneakers, "Aurelien," were customized for each team and worn during the competition.

The tournament was won by the local Italian team, TREEE. Second place went to GNARCATS from the United States, and third place went to CALL ME DADDY from France.

"For me, Florence has always been a city of leisure, but this time I'm happy to be able to mix my work and leisure for the first time. I learned about bike polo through a friend in Paris," said Louboutin, who himself attended the game and congratulated the participants. It seems that this support stems from his involvement in producing the uniforms for the Cuban national team at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
