A popular dessert made fresh in a restaurant, with seasonal fruits, crème chantilly, and more layered on top of crispy baked pie crust. The newly released "KIHACHI Matcha Black Bean Pie" is a limited-time matcha dessert with a Japanese-inspired flavor not found in previous pie series.
 
 
<KIHACHI's Matcha Black Bean Pie>
Two types of special cream - Uji matcha diplomat cream and fragrant soybean flour crème chantilly - are layered together with flaky pie crust and elegantly sweet black beans from Tamba. Between the pie and cream is a layer of genoise soaked in a liqueur with the aroma of matcha and brown sugar syrup, which makes the flaky texture of the pie even more enjoyable.

The completed large pie is cut into single pieces just before being served to customers, and topped with rich matcha gelato. After enjoying the crispy texture, we recommend adding plenty of brown sugar syrup to your liking.
