CACUMA, the women's brand created by Hobonichi in collaboration with KIGI's Yoshie Watanabe, has launched its first men's brand, CACUMA U. Sales will begin in limited quantities on the official Hobonichi Store online store from 11:00 AM on June 2, 2020. You can also try on and purchase all products at Hobonichi Culturen on the 4th floor of Shibuya PARCO. Since its debut in 2013, "CACUMA" has continued to pursue comfort and elegant cuteness under the theme of "everyday wear for adults." Its striking graphic prints and simple yet playful designs have become popular, and the brand has received many requests from men who say, "I want to wear this worldview." So this time, we asked Ryosuke Uehara of KIGI to join us in the production, and the KIGI duo's vision of "CACUMA" for men was brought to life. While maintaining the theme of "everyday wear for adults," the brand will debut a lineup of six items made with comfortable materials and elegant designs that look neat and tidy.

KIGI

Established in 2012 by art directors Ryosuke Uehara and Yoshie Watanabe after they left the design company DRAFT. The name embodies the desire to liken creativity to trees, carefully nurturing each stalk to eventually create a forest. The company continues to explore new forms of graphics, working across all genres, not only in graphic design but also in the launch of ceramics and clothing brands.
Their work has won them the JAGDA Award, the Tokyo ADC Members' Award, and the Tokyo ADC Grand Prix at KIKOF in 2015. In July 2015, they opened a gallery and original shop, "OUR FAVORITE SHOP," in Shirokane, Tokyo.
