On February 3rd, Hilton Tokyo (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo) will open Chocolat Boutique by Weiss on the first floor in collaboration with Weiss, a luxury French chocolate house with over 130 years of history. Founded in 1882, Weiss is one of France's oldest chocolatiers and one of the few chocolate manufacturers to carry out all chocolate-making processes in-house. Founded in Saint-Étienne, eastern France, the company's artisanal techniques and uncompromising commitment to quality have been recognized, leading to the company's EPV (Entreprise des Intangible Cultural Heritage) designation in 2014 as a symbol of the highest quality in France. Chocolat Boutique by Weiss, opening in a corner of the Hilton Tokyo lobby on the first floor, will offer approximately 20 types of bonbons, each with a mellow, jewel-like flavor, as well as 14 types of tablet chocolates and four types of Neapolitan chocolate, the world's first "traveling chocolate" invented by Weiss. To coincide with the opening, Hilton Tokyo will be offering pre-sales of the tablet chocolate "Pure Origin Li-Chu," as well as a limited-edition Valentine's Day gift box containing four bonbon chocolates (from 1,160 yen).
Throughout the year, the boutique will be selling a variety of chocolate lines, sweets made with Weiss Chocolate, and chocolate drinks tailored to suit lifestyles and seasonal events.
