The 15th annual chocolate festival, Salon du Chocolat, finally kicks off on February 2nd. This year's lineup features approximately 100 brands from approximately 17 countries around the world. To accommodate the ever-growing number of attendees, the venue has been expanded 1.5 times to the Tokyo International Forum. At Salon du Chocolat, a chocolate festival where renowned chocolatiers from around the world gather to compete, popular items are sure to sell out. Moreover, since this year marks the 15th anniversary, both buyers and chefs have prepared special items in preparation for the event. "To fully enjoy Salon du Chocolat, I recommend doing your research beforehand," says Yuji Akiyama, the buyer in charge.
