Five years after Scorsese's film, a new story of "Bleu de Chanel" stars Gaspard Ulliel

Feb 6, 2015

"BLEU DE CHANEL," the advertising film directed by Martin Scorsese that caused a stir in the industry in 2010, has been announced as a sequel by CHANEL. The lead actor in the story is played by Gaspard Ulliel, who also played in the previous film. As time passes in the film, he grows into a superstar constantly pursued by fans. While wishing to maintain his status, he struggles to find peace in his daily life. James Gray, known for films like "Little Odessa" and "Two Lovers," has been appointed director for this latest film. It depicts a man who decides to escape from pressure and vanity, but ultimately finds his true self.

Regarding this story, Gray said, "I wanted to highlight the inherent craziness of the film industry, which can be both comfortable and unwelcome. The ridiculous amount of attention can make you feel dizzy."

The fragrance "Bleu de Chanel" embodies elegance and freedom. Its worldview is portrayed in a more mature form on film by the protagonist, who has grown older since five years ago.
