American denim brand JOE'S is holding a custom order event at the Global Closet on the second floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku. They're also holding an order event for a Japan-exclusive color model of their "Spotless" denim, which features a super-water-repellent nano-processing. The event runs until the 16th.
Spotless, or "stain-proof white denim," is denim that uses nano-processing to provide excellent water repellency and stain resistance. This processed fabric prevents stains, even when wine or coffee is spilled, and water droplets can be wiped off with a simple brush.
At the order event, Spotless, which is normally only available in white, will be offered in eight original colors. Six sizes, from 23 to 28, are available. Priced at ¥27,000, these original color models will be available around the end of March.
Also, as a custom order, customers can order embroidering letters or logos onto purchased denim (for a fee).
Under the concept of "There is a silhouette that suits everyone, and we want you to find it," JAWS has produced denim that pursues the perfect fit and comfort. Since 2007, it has also offered outerwear and tops as a total brand. In Japan, Itochu Corporation has been involved in full-scale development since the 15S collection.
