A.P.C. opens new stores in Futakotamagawa and Hiroshima. Limited edition tote bags on sale.

Feb 10, 2015

A.P.C. opened a new store in Futakotamagawa, Tokyo on February 7th. A new store will follow on the 28th in Hiroshima.

The Futakotamagawa store was built and designed to complement the surrounding landscape. The interior walls are all white to create a sense of spaciousness, and a striking wooden latticework counter is located in the center. The diagonal layout of the walls, with benches scattered throughout the corners, creates a design that guides customer flow.

In contrast, the Hiroshima store is set back from the street, creating a calm atmosphere. A large counter, which is the store's signature, is located in the center, while the rest of the space is simple in design. The familiar light oak used for the fixtures contrasts with the gray ceramic tile on the floor.

The store, which incorporates the brand's aesthetic into its design, offers a lineup of candles, room sprays, and more in addition to its classic denim. Additionally, a limited edition denim tote bag (6,000 yen) will be released to commemorate the opening. The denim tote bag comes in three designs, each featuring the A.P.C. initials "A," "P," and "C." The logo is the same as that used on the sweatshirts from this season's collection.
