MM6 Maison Margiela opens its seventh directly managed store in Japan at Yokohama Takashimaya

Feb 16, 2015

MM6 Maison Margiela will open a new store on the third floor of Yokohama Takashimaya on February 18th. To coincide with the opening, the store will offer the full lineup of its 2015 Spring/Summer collection, which proposes a modern, mixed style that blends American pop culture with traditional Japanese elements. The interior features stacked white cubic shelves and natural wood racks, accented with silver and black decorations, creating a modern, clean atmosphere. MM6 Maison Margiela's line expresses femininity through the themes of prints, soft volume, and playfulness. In addition to garments, the brand also offers shoes and accessories. Following the opening of its first global store on Bleecker Street in New York in August 2012, the brand has since expanded to New York SoHo, London, and Seoul. With six stores in Japan, the brand continues to expand its business globally.
