
MM6 Maison Martin Margiela will open pop-up stores for its 2014-2015 Autumn/Winter collection in four locations across Japan. The locations are: Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Building, 2nd Floor Space #2 (October 22nd to 28th), Daimaru Shinsaibashi North Building, 1st Floor Event Space (November 12th to 18th), JR Kyoto Isetan, 5th Floor Re-Style (November 12th to 18th), and Hankyu Umeda Main Store, 3rd Floor D.EDIT Promotion Space (November 12th to 18th). The full lineup will be available, centered around outerwear, as well as shoes, bags, and accessories. MM6 Maison Martin Margiela is a women's line that proposes everyday, contemporary styles with a focus on prints, soft volume, and playful themes. The brand offers a wardrobe ranging from clothing to accessories, incorporating designs with a twist of humor.
The brand's first store in the world opened in New York in August 2012, followed by its second global store in Paris in April 2013. Its second New York store, the Soho store, is scheduled to open in April next year. In Japan, in addition to Isetan Shinjuku and Hankyu Umeda stores, the brand opened a corner in JR Kyoto Isetan Re-Style in November 2013, a shop-in-shop in Daimaru Shinsaibashi, and the largest shop-in-shop in the Kanto region at Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C. in March of this year. Further store expansion is planned for the future.
