Event Date:2019.12.14-2020.01.13
Dec 13, 2019
Granny Smith Apple Pie & Coffee, a specialty apple pie shop, has collaborated for the first time with Dandelion Chocolate, a bean-to-bar chocolate shop from San Francisco, USA. The shop will be selling the "Chocolate and Cherry Holiday Apple Pie" for a limited time from December 14th to January 13th, 2020.

"Chocolate and Cherry Holiday Apple Pie"
Granny Smith uses apples directly delivered from partner farms in Aomori and Nagano, and offers apple pies that allow you to enjoy the natural flavor of apples, inspired by the taste of grandmothers' American home-made treats. This time, we've collaborated for the first time with Dandelion Chocolate, a bean-to-bar chocolate brand from San Francisco, USA. We're releasing a limited-edition "Chocolate and Cherry Holiday Apple Pie," a rich flavor that combines the tart, tangy Red Delicious apples from Aomori Prefecture with dark and sour cherries, combining the fruit's vibrant texture with the rich, lingering finish of chocolate made from Guatemalan cocoa beans.

"Chocolate and Cherry Holiday Apple Pie"
A crispy pie topped with smooth chocolate custard and ganache, it's an exquisite balance that allows you to savor the intensity and richness of the chocolate while still fully enjoying the deliciousness of the apples themselves. Dandelion Chocolate's single-origin chocolate "Cahabón, Guatemala 70%," made from carefully selected Guatemalan cocoa beans, has a deep, wine-like aroma that complements the apple and cherry flavors. The crispy, fragrant texture is enhanced by the occasional crackle of cocoa nibs, creating a unique apple pie experience that combines a variety of flavors and delights.

"Chocolate and Cherry Holiday Apple Pie"
