Jean Paul Gaultier held the Spring/Summer 2015 collection show for his haute couture line, Gaultier Paris, at his headquarters. Catherine Deneuve, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, and Pierre & Gilles were among those in attendance. His first couture collection since announcing his withdrawal from ready-to-wear, titled "61 Ways to Say Oui," featured 61 wedding dresses. It was a powerful collection that embodied Gaultier's passion. The central idea was the eclecticism of combining two separate elements side by side. Guests were treated to unique wedding looks typical of Gaultier, including a tailored pantsuit on the right half and a shawl-collared dress on the left, or a dress that was half smoking and half horsehair halterneck, with only the right half pleated.
There were also many items with a python motif, including a cardigan dress with a python pattern made only with beading, a dress with a python motif made from a combination of Swarovski crystals, and a cardigan with a rattlesnake motif made only with round wooden beads.
In the middle of the show, Christine, Violetta, Suzanne and other models who were active in the 80s appeared in dresses, exciting the audience, but when Naomi Campbell, the 61st model, walked down the runway in a bouquet dress, thunderous applause and cheers erupted.
