Each bookstore will act as a concierge, recommending "the book you should read now" to FASHION HEADLINE readers. Every Thursday, each branch of the art bookstore "NADiff" will introduce a book they recommend. This time, we will be introducing the Shibuya branch, NADiff modern (Bunkamura, 1st basement, 2-24-1 Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo).

■ "contact" by Olafur Eliasson

The Fondation Louis Vuitton, an art museum, opened in the Bois de Boulogne, Paris, in October 2014. It was designed by Frank Gehry. The design, with the entire building clad in light glass, embodies the emergence of a new epicenter for contemporary art. This book is the catalog for Olafur Eliasson's exhibition "Contact," which was held as the second part of the art program.

Olafur Eliasson, an artist from Copenhagen, Denmark, is known for his installations that utilize natural elements such as light and fog. Based on the theme of "the relationship between self, space, and the universe," the universe he has created within Gehry's architecture and the spectacle of light and shadow that unfolds therein invite the viewer's imagination and all five senses to the heart of the work.

Exhibition views are reproduced on jet-black pages using advanced printing technology, creating a book that allows you to experience the very universe he has created.
