PIERRE HERMÉ PARIS has released two types of Galette des Rois to celebrate the New Year. For 2020, the Galette des Rois will be decorated with a fève, a collaboration with luxury jewelry brand MESSIKA, and a crown. Pre-orders will begin on December 1st, and the sale period will be from December 30th to January 19th, 2020.

"Galette Mogador" (4,104 yen including tax)

"Galette des Rois" is a traditional French dessert that is an essential part of New Year's celebrations. Whoever finds the figurine called a "fève" hidden inside will become king or queen for the day and be able to share their happiness by crowning their partner. It is said that this good fortune will last for a year.

In 2020, "Galette Mogador" (4,104 yen including tax) will be released, a special galette version of "Mogador," one of Pierre Hermé's signature flavors. Roasted pineapple and fruity ganache add a refreshing acidity to almond cream with the mellow aroma of passion fruit. The traditional "Galette aux Amandes" (3,672 yen including tax) will also be available.

Fève
Fève, created in collaboration with Parisian luxury jewelry brand Messika, features an elegant and modern design inspired by Messika's Lucky Move Collection. This meticulously crafted fève and crown will be served with a Galette des Rois.

Pre-orders will begin on December 1st. Sales will be available at Pierre Hermé Paris Aoyama and other directly managed boutiques from December 30th to January 19th, 2020. Why not enjoy a galette while making wishes for the new year?
