Toraya Cafe, which is introducing a succession of products using the autumn flavor of "chestnuts," is offering a heartwarming parfait starring Japanese chestnuts for a limited time only.


From mid-September to November 28th, Toraya Cafe Aoyama will be offering a "Japanese Chestnut Parfait." Savor the flavors of autumn with Japanese chestnuts simmered in their skins, minced chestnuts, yokan, soy milk ice cream, and bean paste.

Under the ice cream is a layer of red bean paste paste. Enjoy the various textures, including walnut crackers, shiratama (rice flour dumplings), and roasted green tea agar jelly.

Another seasonal parfait that can be easily enjoyed in a takeout cup at An Stand Kita-Aoyama and An Stand Shinjuku stores is the "An Parfait [Japanese Chestnut Creamy Shiratama]," which will also be available from mid-September to November 28th. "An paste [smooth bean paste]" is stretched like sweet red bean soup, and the paste made from fresh chestnuts and white bean paste is combined with shiratama and ice cream. The crispy texture of walnuts and brown rice puffs adds an accent.

From mid-September to the end of November, the "Japanese Chestnut and Chocolate Fondant" (regular size 3,780 yen including tax, small size 540 yen including tax), which makes a great souvenir or gift, and the luxurious "An Paste [Chestnut]" (864 yen), made with Japanese chestnuts, chestnuts from France, and white bean paste made from 100% rare white azuki beans, will be available at An Stand Kita-Aoyama, An Stand Shinjuku, and Toraya Cafe Aoyama. "An Paste [Chestnut]" is also sold at An Stand Ginza.
