Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Anrealage's Spring/Summer 2013 theme was "BONE." The brand showcased clothes stripped down to the bare essentials. The first look began with a jet-black model wearing a pannier-like skeleton dress. Illuminated by black light, the white figures stood out, as if the skeletons were walking alone. The lights faded, and neon-colored skeletons appeared. Then, with their "faces" removed, revealing only their structural lines, layered styles were unveiled, including dresses, coats, and jackets that at first glance appeared patterned or knitted. Accessories like shoes and bags were treated in the same way, with even the toggles, buttons, and studs on coats stripped of their natural texture. The garments, stripped of their structural lines, were laser-cut from polyester. They were UV-treated and glowed under black light. Regarding this collection, Morinaga said, "This time, I thought about creating from the structure rather than from a pattern. Since actual clothes don't have a framework, I used 3D modeling software to create an imaginary framework." In fact, if even one framework were to be lost, the form would be greatly disrupted. "I wanted to create the simplest possible clothing shape by drilling as many holes as possible. Everything has a framework. I get my ideas from what I see," said Morinaga.
