Air France's first-class "La Première" service prioritizes flexible, seamless, and stress-free comfort, catering to the preferences and requests of each first-class passenger. A total of 100 specially trained staff members are always on standby at the airport. Upon arrival, passengers are greeted by a baggage porter and a dedicated customer service representative. They are then escorted from the dedicated check-in lounge to the first-class "La Première" lounge via a special lane. Upon arrival, staff members will handle immigration and duty-free procedures. Passengers are served a welcome drink while they wait for the process, which takes approximately five minutes. Needless to say, every effort is made to minimize wait times. A guest book containing messages of gratitude to the customer service representative and comments about the lounge is placed in the entrance area, promoting communication among passengers.
In addition, our "Multicultural Service" staff, fluent in six languages (Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Indian, South American, and Middle Eastern), assist passengers with various administrative procedures upon departure.
The La Première lounge is a spacious and comfortable 1,000-square-meter space. The first thing you'll notice is the dining area designed by Alain Ducasse. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served at the buffet, with different times scheduled. An à la carte menu featuring Alain Ducasse's French cuisine, featuring seasonal ingredients, is also available and can be ordered on the spot. Allergy-free options and cooking methods can be accommodated in advance. The tableware features Air France's iconic "Hippocampus" design.
Other amenities include a work space, a library with newspapers, magazines, and books (special selections are available upon request), a relaxation area with benches, and a shower room. A particularly popular spot is the spa area, staffed by beauticians from Biologique Recherche, a luxury aesthetic salon based in Paris and New York, who offer a soothing experience after jet lag and travel fatigue. Using care products packed with carefully selected natural ingredients, the 30-minute to 2-hour treatments offer a wide range of options, from hand massages and facials to full-body treatments. With 75% of first-class passengers being men, the lounge is popular with both men and women. The free 30-minute treatment and the paid 1-hour treatment are both popular. Before departure or during a layover, relax in the lounge before boarding. Once you descend via the escalator to the ground, a private car awaits, and a staff member assigned to the lounge will drive you to your aircraft. The same private car service is available upon arrival. After leaving the airport, there's also a service offering tours of Parisian art museums and museums run by luxury brands. The system is staffed by six veteran customer service representatives who have worked in first class for many years, and there is also a department that provides services comparable to a concierge, such as arranging for museum staff to guide customers around the museum, making reservations at famous restaurants, coordinating dinner parties, and arranging accommodation at affiliated palace hotels.
Last summer, Air France was ranked No. 1 among all airlines for first class service, and also won in the lounge and restaurant category. It is no exaggeration to say that the meticulous, high-quality service of Air France's first class, La Premiere, is part of the hospitality culture of France, which has many palace hotels throughout the country.
