Air France has released a new campaign commercial. The launch party was held on March 5th at the Philharmonie de Paris, a music complex designed by Jean Nouvel.
The new commercial, set in a setting resembling the interior of an airplane, features elements that evoke France, such as the Tour de France, couture, ballet, and sweets, with the lyrics "France is in the air" playing in the background. Like a music video, the atmosphere is modern, pop, and lovely. The flowers decorating the window frames are reminiscent of the work of fashion photographer Pierre et Gilles, and the atmosphere is endlessly French.
An Air France representative, who produced the commercial, said, "We want people to feel France (through the commercial). As we are an airline, we incorporated elements that give a sense of structure. We expressed air travel by using various changes in light during the day and at night."
The commercial will begin airing in Japan on March 9th.
