Air France introduces new business class with 3Fs on Haneda flights, making all cabins more comfortable

Oct 16, 2014

Air France will introduce a new business class with its winter schedule starting at the end of October.

From October 26th to March 28th, 2015, flight AF279 will depart Haneda at 1:40 PM, arriving in Paris at 6:25 PM, and flight AF293 will depart Haneda at 12:30 AM, arriving in Paris at 5:30 AM, for a total of five flights per day, including two flights from Narita and one from Kansai. From October 28th, flight AF293 departing from Haneda will be operated on a Boeing B777-200 equipped with the latest business class, premium economy class, and economy class cabins. Flight AF279 is scheduled to introduce the new service in mid-January next year. The new Business Class cabin will feature three "F"s: "FULL FLAT," in which the seats convert into 180-degree horizontal beds; "FULL ACCESS," which allows direct aisle access from every seat; and "FULL PRIVACY," whose enveloping curves create a perfectly private space. Until the end of January 2015, a new main dish created by three-star chef Régis Marcon will be served on flights departing from Paris. It skillfully incorporates selected seasonal ingredients, such as green lentils from the Puy region of France and black nettle mushrooms. On flights departing Paris, one of the four main courses will be created by Chef Marcon. While the current cabin configuration consists of four classes—First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy Class, and Economy Class—Air France is promoting plans to improve the quality of all classes. Economy Class now features increased legroom and new cushions. All new features have been added, including adjustable headrests and wide tables. New equipment has also been added, including power outlets and headphone holders.

The in-flight entertainment program is equipped with a high-definition wide touchscreen that allows you to enjoy music, movies, TV shows, and many other programs on demand. Premium Economy Class in-flight meals will include hot meals for both the first and second meals, and will now also include chocolate, candy, and ice cream.
