This year, perfumer Alberto Morillas has created two fragrances based on the theme of "the sweet scent of summer": L'EAU D'ISSEY SUMMER (100ml: 9,504 yen), with its striking pink bottle, and L'EAU D'ISSEY POUR HOMME SUMMER (125ml: 8,964 yen), with its striking refreshing blue color. L'EAU D'ISSEY Summer Eau de Toilette is a bright and feminine fruity floral fragrance with sour top notes of pink grapefruit and lychee, accented by lively middle notes of passion fruit and guava. L'EAU D'ISSEY Pour Homme Summer Eau de Toilette, like L'EAU D'ISSEY Summer Eau de Toilette, is based on a fruity concept. The image is of the freshness of kiwi fruit bursting with spicy and fruity notes. The top notes are coriander and slightly bitter grapefruit, while the middle notes are pineapple and nutmeg, with woody notes added as a base note, and finally, vetiver and cedar create a sensual and impressive trail.

Aside from the skills of its perfumers, the brand's summer fragrances also attract a lot of attention each year for their packaging and designs, which are created by cutting-edge artists. This year, the brand has hired Russian artist Yulia Brodskaya, who has attracted worldwide attention for her delicate style of "quilling," a technique in which strips of paper are rolled to create various motifs and then glued together to create a work of art.
