Oliver Peoples' 60s-style sunglasses with semi-matte mirror lenses [Today's item]

May 11, 2015

Founded in Los Angeles in 1986, the eyewear brand Oliver Peoples creates unique pieces that combine vintage designs with a modern twist, earning it worldwide acclaim from its inception. It's well-known that Larry Leight, one of the founding members and current owner/designer, was a key figure in Prada's first eyewear collection. The new SS15 collection features the "MASEK-J" sunglasses (¥35,000), a vintage-style pair of 1960s sunglasses with decorative metal accents on the front. The 1960s-style Wellington frame, a signature style of Oliver Peoples, offers a perfect fit. The purple-tinted half-matte mirrored lenses exude a sexy allure. The "JACK HUSTON-J" (¥35,000) is the signature model of British actor Jack Huston, who appeared in the AW15 campaign. The refreshing aqua blue glasses are perfect for summer.
