Conrad Tokyo is hosting the "Strawberry Rouge Afternoon Tea," which uses plenty of Japanese strawberries. The event will run from January 16th to February 28th, 2019, at Twenty Eight, the bar and lounge on the 28th floor.


The theme of the "Strawberry Rouge Afternoon Tea" is "rouge," inspired by the bright red and delicate strawberry. Strawberries are loved by many people, from adults to children. We want to be loved like strawberries, and we want to be beautiful in order to be loved. The strawberries and sweets represent cosmetics, high heels, and other items that make such women shine beautifully.

All sweets and savory dishes use strawberries, creating a lineup of items that are both beautiful to look at and enjoyable to taste.
Presented on a pretty red plate using premium ingredients, the lineup includes photogenic and original sweets and savory dishes perfect for women pursuing beauty, such as white high-heel bonbon chocolates, a strawberry tart shaped like a makeup compact, and even a strawberry lipstick that can be applied with strawberry-flavored chocolate just like real lipstick.


In addition, in collaboration with the Swiss luxury cosmetics brand Valmont, guests who order the deluxe afternoon tea will receive a 10ml bottle of Il Profumo perfume and a rose ring as a gift.
