An event commemorating the release of a photo book by legendary '80s band B.A.D. (Big Audio Dynamite) kicked off on November 16th at NOAH in Harajuku, where a limited capsule collection was unveiled.
NOAH, founded in New York in 2016 by former Supreme design director Brendon Babenzian, opened its third store in Harajuku last September, following New York and London, and the exhibition is taking place at the NOAH Clubhouse, featuring photos of B.A.D. taken by New York photographer Josh Cheuse on the walls. WONK's Akira Arata also participated as a DJ at the reception held on the 15th.

The capsule collection released this time consists of 11 items. The lineup includes denim jackets, white denim pants, T-shirts, caps, and the band's iconic zebra print hoodies featuring the B.A.D. logo, along with the "SK8-HI" and monk strap "CHUKKA MS," a collaboration between NOAH and VANS.

B.A.D. was founded in the 1980s by former Clash guitarist Mick Jones. Jones, Leo Williams, bassist for the black dub-punk band Basement 5, who supported P.I.L. live, and filmmaker Don Letts, known for his love of Japan, are part of this fusion rock band. While their sound itself wasn't particularly well-received at the time, their fashion style, a mix of hip-hop, London street, and Jamaican influences, is once again garnering attention. Josh, who photographed musicians of the time, including the Clash, RUN-DMC, and Beastie Boys, and Brendon of NOAH, are close friends, which led to this collaboration.

NOAH has a free vision that distances itself from the customs and common sense of the traditional fashion business, and has established a brand policy of creating products from an ethical perspective based on cultures such as skating, surfing, and music.
