Blue Note Japan, Inc.'s new multi-purpose store, BLUE YARD, opened on July 31, 2024, in Baltica 03, the food and beverage zone within Innogate Osaka, the station building directly connected to JR Osaka Station that opened on the same day.

Blue YARD is a multi-purpose store that seamlessly connects three business categories: dining, cafe stand, and record shop. The company has produced spaces that combine music and food, including live music restaurants, cafes, and dining, centered around Blue Note Tokyo in Minami-Aoyama, which opened in 1988. Located in a station building that serves as a new gateway to the west area of JR Osaka Station, the restaurant offers a comfortable space that combines convenience with a high-quality feel, satisfying the diverse needs of users in the Umeda area.

In the dining area, seating is arranged around a center stage, and the restaurant irregularly hosts live music in a variety of styles, from free live performances by local musicians to premium performances by leading artists in Japan's jazz scene, with professional acoustics. A DJ plays music selections every night during dinner time to enhance the dining space. The restaurant's menu features freshly roasted chicken and pork, carefully crafted in a roaster, and offers a unique modern American menu that accentuates the natural flavors of the ingredients. The menu is complemented by a selection of distinctive natural wines from various producers and original mixology-based cocktails. The cafe stand offers a wide variety of handcrafted baked goods and sandwiches, as well as Blue Yard's original blend coffee from Kitaoji Roastery (Kyoto), available for dine-in or to-go. The record shop also offers the casual cafe experience of browsing for your favorite vinyl records.

■DINING
The dining menu concept is "Roast & Natural Wine." Featuring roast chicken and roast pork cooked in a custom-made roaster machine, the menu highlights the flavor of high-quality ingredients and features modern American cuisine accented with spices and dips, along with a list of over 40 types of natural wine.

■LIVE
The dining area is equipped with stunning acoustics by Adamson Systems Engineering (Canada), and live performances are occasionally held on the center stage surrounded by the audience. From free live music performances with dinner and up-close performances to premium live events featuring leading musicians from Japan and around the world, Blue Yard offers a new experience as a venue* that combines high-quality food and music. DJs will also be on hand every night during dinnertime to lighten up the atmosphere. *Venue means "place (for an event, etc.)." ■CAFE STAND Cafe Stand, with its impressive display case featuring a wide variety of baked goods and sandwiches, offers carefully handcrafted pastries and coffee, both dine-in and to-go. Aimed at workers and casual shoppers in the Umeda area, it offers a relaxing and enjoyable space. As with the dining area, Blue Yard offers modern American items like New Orleans beignets, churros, bagels, and Cuban sandwiches, as well as light fare like curry and soup. We are also proud of our specialty coffees that can only be enjoyed here, such as Blueyard's original blend, made by Kitaoji Roastery, a Kyoto roastery lab that is committed to roasting beans in a way that suits the individual characteristics of each bean, and the single origin coffee from Single O, which roasts and serves high-quality coffee beans sourced from farmers around the world, including Australia.

■RECORD SHOP
A record shop is located at the entrance of the store. Around 4,000 used records are always on sale, with a wide range of genres, with a focus on jazz. Located in a station building, it is a space where anyone can casually enjoy records, with the feeling of visiting a cafe.
