The UGG® x sacai collection was unveiled at the 2018-19 Fall/Winter Men's Collection and 2018 Women's Pre-Fall Collection shows held in Paris in January 2018. In keeping with sacai's hybrid aesthetic, the iconic silhouette of UGG®'s sheepskin boots has been reconstructed with striped knitwear attached, while remaining intact. For women, there are two models with different shaft heights: the Sacai Knit Classic Mini II (37,000 yen) and the Sacai Knit Classic Short II (39,000 yen), while for men there is only one model, the Sacai Knit Classic Mini II (37,000 yen), all of which are available in three colors: black, gray, and chestnut.

The campaign visuals, shot specially in Los Angeles, feature influencer Aleali May and model Cameron Reid. The shoot featured model Amy Reid, photographed by New York-based photographer Robert Hamada, and styled by Stacy Zimmerman, known for JUTE Magazine.
